Darin Wallace

Mr. Darin Wallace teaches K-6 PE and is the coach for basketball and tennis here at Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy. Mr. Wallace is in his first year teaching PE and made the career change with over 12 years in the medical field working as a Business Development Manager and later Chief Information Officer for a Federally Qualified Health Center. He attended high school at Hot Springs Lakeside and was awarded All-State in Basketball and Tennis, won a state championship in basketball, and also played in the 2000 Arkansas All-Star Basketball Game. After high school he earned an academic scholarship to college and received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2005. Mr. Wallace is now a highly qualified teacher in PE with a license to teach PE and Math in Arkansas and holds the AAA/NFHS AIC Basketball and Tennis Coach’s endorsement. Mr. Wallace has recently enrolled at University of Arkansas into the Masters of Education program for Physical Education. His hobbies and interests include attending Fellowship Bible Church, basketball, football, golf, tennis, rock climbing and kayaking. Outside of school, Coach Wallace enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family. He has been married to Doreen Wallace for 7 years and their two boys, Liam and Kai Wallace, attend Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy.
