Ajax LaCavera

Ajax was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but moved to Northwest Arkansas months after birth, and has happily dwelled in Bella Vista for the past ten years. Though he is not an Arkansas native he certainly feels most at home in the beautiful and illustrious country side of this natural state. Ajax LaCavera is a Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy senior on his way towards his freshman year at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He has chosen to double major in Studio Arts and Psychology and plans to minor in philosophy. The arts, psychology, and philosophy have always fascinated Ajax for he loves to dissect and depict the very tendrils of existence. His primal goal in life is to use these three subjects -- and then some -- in order to figure out the best way to live holistically within the solipsistic society. Ajax has already started this process in his senior thesis Anatomy of Affliction, which explores the origins of some of man’s greatest afflictions: loneliness, despair, selfishness, and lack to identify the importance of individuality.
