One of Denton Classical’s “veteran” teachers is second grade teacher, Dani Samatas. Mrs. Samatas, whose nickname is Danuska, was born on May 18, 1968, as the second of three children, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

After high school, Mrs. Samatas attended Bennington College in Vermont, St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, and TWU in Denton. She earned degrees in both Graphic Design and Education.

She enjoys teaching, not only because of the impact teachers had on her own life, but also because her schedule allows her to spend more time with her own children, Samantha (21) and Chris (18).
