At Sno-Isle, students receive technical training in over 20 different programs, along with high school and college credit (see specific program details).
Sno-Isle is free to students; applications open November 2024 for entrance into Fall 2025 classes.
Commitment
Students interested in attending Sno-Isle Tech should have a good attendance record at their sending high school and give careful consideration to their degree of interest in making a commitment to a particular program. This is especially important because the programs are one or two years in length.
Sessions
There are two sessions each day at Sno-Isle Tech. The first session is from 7:55 to 10:25 each morning. Students then return to their sending high schools to attend their regular afternoon classes. The second session is from 11:10 to 1:40 each afternoon. Students in this session attend their regular classes at the sending high school in the morning. Transportation to Sno-Isle Tech is provided by the sending school district.
High School Credits
Sno-Isle Tech students complete graduation requirements at their sending high school. Students earn 1.5 credits each semester, for a maximum of 3.0 per school year. Many of our programs offer academic equivalency credit opportunities. Students may receive more information on equivalency credit opportunities from their sending school counselor, or by checking the Equivalency Form.
College Credits
Sno-Isle Tech has articulation agreements with Everett Community College, Edmonds Community College, Shoreline Community College, Lake Washington Technical College, and other community colleges in the area. Through these agreements, students successfully completing selected Sno-Isle Tech programs may receive Tech Prep credit (college credit). Anyone planning to receive college credit must meet with the class instructor prior to enrolling.
