This article explains how to log into and log out of app.avaya.cx, which is also referred to as "App".

Overview

You must have an email and password to log into the system. If you have access to Console, the admin portal, the login credentials will be the same as they are for App.

When you update your password because it’s your first login, your password expired, or you reset your password, the new password works for both App and Console.

Log into App (first login)

1. Locate your temporary password provided in your activation email.

2. Open App at app.avaya.cx in a Chrome web browser or open the desktop app, if it is already installed on your computer.

3. Enter the email address associated with your account into the Email/Username field. Then Click the arrow icon or press Enter / Return.

4. Enter the temporary password into the Password field, then click Login.

5. Re-type the temporary password into the Current Password field.

6. Create a new password and type it in the New Password field.

7. Re-type the new password into the Confirm Passwords field.

8. Click Submit.

9. Login with your new password.

Note: If your temporary password has expired, click the Forgot Password? button. If you receive an error stating “There was an error executing the change password request”, try opening the system in a Google Chrome incognito window to reset the password.

Log in to App

1. Navigate to App at app.avaya.cx in a Google Chrome web browser or open the desktop app.

2. Enter the email address associated with your account into the Email/Username field, then click the arrow icon or press Enter / Return.

3. Enter the password into the Password field, then click Login.

Note: When your password expires, the system automatically displays the Create New Password form to change your password after you enter your account email address.

Log out of App

1. Click the Settings icon.

2. Click Logout.
