HECD's impact is demonstrated across five main areas of HEI institutional development:

Job Readiness Programs

HECD has provided training and coaching for HEI administration staff and faculty members to deliver innovative work readiness, entrepreneurship, design thinking, and mental health at the workplace courses and workshops.

Grant Writing

HECD has developed HEI institutional capacities in strengthened grant writing systems including developing grant proposals and budgets, and understanding the requirements for submitting a winning proposal to international donors.

Career Center Enhancement

HECD launched a Career Center Enhancement component, which provides training, technical support, and in-kind grants that equipped campus career centers to provide high quality career services for students.

Employer Engagement

HECD has supported HEI partners with strategies and approaches to engage employers to ensure market-driven courses, student work-based learning, career center activities, internships and potential employment.

Data for Decision Making

HECD has conducted webinars and trainings on the design and use of institutional data systems, student surveys, and alumni surveys to improve institutional performance and student success in the labor market.
