Sphero Bolt

Each regional coach has two class packs of 15 Sphero robots for your class to use.

The robots do require specialized software to allow for students to be able to upload their code to the robots, but the software is compatible with all devices (ios, chrome, windows).

The Sphero can be programmed in three ways:

(1) drawing paths on a touch-screen device
(2) using block-based commands
(3) using text-based Javascript.

We also provide the supplementary curriculum guide which provides teachers with ready-to-go lessons to introduce both Spheros and programming concepts.

This sequence takes students from beginning block-based programming through to JavaScript. You can see an overview of the curriculum here.
