We offer a class set of 15 Spike Prime kits for you class.
Students will have access to motors and sensors to build robots to meet certain challenges and use a block-based or python coding environment to make them come alive.
The Spike Prime robot can be programmed offline using the Lego Spike App (also available on Microsoft, Chrome, and Apple stores) or online by using the Lego Web App.
The Spike App comes with built-in tutorials for the motors and sensors as well as full unit and lesson plans that engage students in a variety of STEAM and Computer Science projects.
In addition, Carnegie Mellon has a full series of lessons on programming and computational thinking using the SPIKE prime.
