Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance

The Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance program allows students to explore the world of cyber security through a two (2) course concentrator pathway and four (4) course completer pathway.

Required Courses for "concentrator" status:

• Fundamentals of Cyber Security

• Advanced Cyber Security

Requires any two (2) additional courses for "completer" status:
Note:  These courses can be taken either before or after concentrator courses.

• AP Computer Science Principles

• Artificial Intelligence 1*#

• Computer Forensics

• Fundamentals of Computing

• Introduction to Artificial Intelligence*#

• IT Fundamentals

• Networking Fundamentals

• PLTW – Computer Science Essentials

• PLTW – Computer Science Principles

• PLTW – Cybersecurity  

• Information Technology Internship, Work-Based Credit
