Who are we?
A group of passionate educators from a variety of backgrounds now fortunate enough to work in Canberra's own Outdoor School Birrigai. With our many years of involvement in adapting and developing Outdoor Education experiences, we wanted to join the effort to help you continue to learn at home.
This site is a collection of resources curated and adapted by our staff that fit within what we believe education looks like at Birrigai.
'Birrigai' means laughter in the language of the Ngunnawal people

This is Ngunnawal Country. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Elders.
Birrigai acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, work and teach, the Ngunnawal people. We pay our respects and extend our gratitude to their current Elders, those that have come before and those still emerging. In this digital time we also extend this respect to the traditional custodians of the land on which you access our site.
