2021 COVID Lockdown Update:
We have just received the following information from the BSSS. We will continue the Friday afternoon AST prep sessions as per the Online Timetable until the new dates.
ACT SCALING TEST (AST) 2021
The ACT Scaling Test (AST) was scheduled for Tuesday 31 August and Wednesday 1 September 2021.
As the ACT is in lockdown, the AST has been postponed until Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 October 2021.
The Board acknowledges that this can be a stressful time for students and families.
The Board is committed to the health and well-being of students and to processes that support the validity of academic results.
All plans and arrangements for the AST will be subject to the public health directions and advice at the time.

How to use the site
Before the trial
Ensure you know what the AST is, including details of the different components, by reading the information below.
Prepare an equipment pack in a see through bag for the trial, and you can use this in future trials and on the day as well.
Do preliminary prep from Terms 1-2 and Term 3. Read the written advice for each component here, and at the same place read through Suggestions in Approaching the AST for some general advice.
Know the expectations for you on the day of the trial by checking the trial schedule.
After the trial
Undertake additional practice by looking at past papers and answers to familiarise yourself and build your time management skills.
Read through On the Day information so you are well prepared for what will happen in the actual AST itself.
