Young Music Society Concert Band

Rehearsal Time:  9-10:30am Saturday mornings during school term 

Rehearsal Location:  IMP band room, Kaleen 

Age Range:  9-18 

Desired AMEB level:  1-4 

Entry Via: No auditions necessary, musicians are welcome to come and try it and see how they go. We do recommend musicians have the basic fundamentals of how to play their instrument and be able to read music. 

Trial Rehearsal?:  1 free rehearsal period before joining 

Cost:  $130 per term, plus $30 annual membership, polo top $20, optional hoodie $50 

Instrument Hire available?:   No 

Types of Performances:  Australian National Eisteddfod every year, Floriade every year, school fetes, markets, end of year Christmas concerts  

Instrumentation:  Flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, bass guitar, drum kit, bells player, auxiliary percussion player
