Who is Ms. Herrington

I went back to school later in life to get my teaching degree. I graduated from University of West Florida in December of 2008 after doing my student teaching at Hallmark Elementary. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education K - 6, and Exceptional Student Education K- 12. I also have certifications with Reading Endorsement, ESOL, and newest one in Civics. 

My first job, I was hired and Ferry Pass Middle School teaching 6 - 8 for 5 years. From there I moved to elementary at Global Learning Academy, where I taught 3 - 5 ESE students.  In 2017. I moved to Longleaf Elementary, where both my sons attended. My heart is working with ESE students. There is nothing they cannot do if they are willing to try. I will do everything in my power to help your student learn and use accommodations to make learning easier. I am their biggest advocate outside of the parents/guardians. Let's learn!
