Academic Week At A Glance 

ELA: Students will be working on writing summaries. Students will also work on answering comprehension questions using textual evidence and their own understanding to answer text based questions logically. 

Math: Students will begin working on decimals. (Standard NC.6.NS.3) Students will add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimal numbers. 

Science: Students are continuing to explore and put into practice The Scientific Method.

Academic Support: Students will continue to work in their IReady program. They will continue to practice prerequisite skills in both Math and ELA as well as supporting Science.

Teachers can be reached by email (see below), calling the school, messaging through the Remind app, and Google Classroom. Our planning period is from 11:00 am until 12:05 pm, Monday through Friday, with the exception of Club Days. 

Please be sure to have students return all beginning of the year forms to their homeroom teacher! (Student Information and Health Forms)

Chromebooks must be charged overnight to be prepared for classes the next day.
