2.7.b Design and implement formative and summative assessments
Use technology to design and implement a variety of formative and summative assessments that accommodate learner needs, provide timely feedback to students and inform instruction.
Assessing students' content knowledge and understanding of new concepts can be time consuming for teachers and boring for students. What if you could create activities that didn’t require hours of time to grade and record and students actually want to complete. In this session participants will learn what Mystery Pictures are and how they are created. We will also explore the different question types that can be used to create formative assessments that are engaging and fun for students. After this session, attendees will have tools, resources and skills to create a self-checking Mystery Art picture that students will look forward to completing.
