All Y13 students will apply starting 1 February with a deadline in mid-March (check the application website for the specific deadline), during the quota 2 round, but students apply to both quotas at the same time by this deadline. The application opens for quota 2 starting February 1. There are no recommendations, and schools rarely ask for predicted grades or transcripts. Students can apply for up to 8 different programs and are given one result they most qualify for. Predictions may be asked for but are not always needed.
Converting IB scale to the Danish scale. Highly competitive programs (e.g. Copenhagen Business School) will expect 10.5 or higher on the Danish scale.

The application process depends on whether the student is resident in the EU/EEA or non-EU, this may not be related to the passport a student holds. EU/EEA students apply for all undergraduate courses through the Central Applications Office (CAO), unless otherwise stated. All non-EU citizens apply directly to the higher education institutions in Ireland.
Priority deadline for CAO applicants is 1 February, late deadline 1 May. Admissions decisions are confirmed in August.
Non EU applicants are determined by EU/EEA residency status and tax residency, not by passport. Applicants are made directly with the university. See a guidance counselor if you are unsure of your status.
Some courses will have IB subject and grade requirements, for example in math or sciences. See individual university websites for more information.
If students apply via the CAO, the application is very minimalistic, and acceptances are decided in August.
Swiss, EU and UK may be eligible for the Free Fees Initiative. Details here

Deadlines:
If you are applying with Predicted Grades and you are an EU/EEA passport holder, the application round will begin on March 15th typically until April 15th. Decisions regarding acceptance will be made once universities receive your IB results in July.
If you are not an EU/EEA passport holder and require a visa for Sweden, you will need to take a gap year and apply with your actual grades (the exception to this rule is Stockholm School of Economics, where international students can apply with their Predicted Grades + standardised test).
If you tke a gap year and therefore have your actual grades, you will apply in the first round of deadlines, which typically begin from January 15th (check each institution and course)
Stockholm School of Economics requires an SAT score or the ITB-Business test.
