The Ecolint Foundation Orchestra is at the heart of our musical community, bringing together talented students, parents, staff, teachers, alumni, and members of the wider community in a unique intergenerational ensemble. More than an orchestra, it is a place where a shared passion for music creates lasting friendships, inspires artistic growth, and celebrates the joy of making music together.
Open to motivated string, woodwind, brass, and percussion players, the orchestra offers musicians of all ages the opportunity to perform a rich and varied symphonic repertoire in a supportive yet ambitious environment. Every section is mentored by experienced Music School faculty, ensuring that musicians continue to develop their technical skills, musical confidence, and orchestral experience while performing at a high artistic level.
Each season offers exciting collaborative projects with internationally recognised guest conductors, soloists, and choirs. For its Spring 2026 concert, Going to the Movies, the orchestra was honoured to welcome Estonian conductor and educator Jaan Ots, leading a memorable programme of iconic film music by John Williams, Ennio Morricone, and other celebrated composers. Concert recordings, together with performances from previous seasons, can be viewed here.
The 2026–2027 season promises to be our most ambitious yet, featuring a festive Big Band Gala and String Orchestra Concert in December, followed by a major Symphony Orchestra and Choir production in March, culminating in a performance of Mozart's Requiem alongside other monumental choral masterpieces.
Whether you are an experienced orchestral musician or looking to rediscover the pleasure of playing in an ensemble, we warmly invite you to become part of this exceptional musical adventure.
