Our 2025-2026 Ecolint Orchestra season includes two contrasting programs. We will have a String Orchestra Fall concert, led by the great Linley Bennet and our faculty. The orchestra will perform a selection of pieces from different time periods and styles, including Bach, Borodin, Richter, Holst, and Strauss, in the Centre des Arts Auditorium.
For the Spring performance, the Ecolint Orchestra is thrilled to welcome Jaan Ots, an Estonian seasoned pedagogue specialized in high school orchestras. This concert is a fantastic opportunity for orchestra members to enjoy and learn from an excellent conductor, as he conducts an a program featuring pieces by J. Williams and E. Morricone, among others. We are keeping the program as a surprise for now, but it will include music from a number of famous movies.
The Ecolint Orchestra is dedicated to nurturing and facilitating a community's appreciation for music. Motivated student and adult musicians, including parents, develop their musical potential through performing various symphonic music. Each orchestra section is headed by a Music School teacher, providing a supportive learning environment for all players.
Participation in the Ecolint Orchestra is open to students and adult string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists.
