Dr. Souvik Dihidar

Dr. Souvik Dihidar is a highly accomplished academic and professional with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur (ranked 5th in class). He has extensive experience spanning academia, data science, quantitative finance, and telecommunications.

Dr. Dihidar has served as a Visiting Faculty at IISWBM, Kolkata, teaching Data Science in the Executive MBA program, and has over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics to higher secondary students for WBJEE and JEE (Main) exams.

His professional career includes senior analytical and quantitative roles at Genpact, Crisil, Royal Bank of Scotland, Royal Bank of Canada (New York), and Marvell Semiconductor (USA)—where he led projects in model validation, risk analytics, financial modeling, and wireless communication algorithms.

Dr. Dihidar has published extensively in IEEE and Elsevier journals, contributed to international conferences, and holds a U.S. patent in wireless communications. He is the recipient of the Oscar P. Cleaver Award from Georgia Tech for outstanding academic performance and achieved top national ranks in IIT-JEE and WBJEE.
