I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 21 years of experience providing compassionate and effective counseling services to individuals and families across all stages of development. I specialize in working with children from birth through adolescence and bring deep expertise in supporting families through life’s emotional and behavioral challenges.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from SUNY Albany in 2002 and hold a SIFI (Seminar in Field Instruction) certification from New York University. I am also certified in Applied Behavioral Analysis and take a solution-focused, evidence-based approach in my clinical work.
For over 15 years, I have served as an advocate for students with special needs and their families within the public education system. This work has shaped my understanding of systemic barriers, family stressors, and the importance of personalized, strengths-based care.
As I expand my clinical services, I now complete immigration psychological evaluations. My experience working with diverse populations, combined with a strong foundation in assessment and family dynamics, positions me well to support clients facing the emotional complexities of immigration-related legal processes.
I also bring a global perspective to my work, informed by my travels and experiences in international urban communities. This has deepened my appreciation for cultural sensitivity and the importance of context in clinical care.
