This map is of trees on the campus of Eckerd College that either need trimming or are mostly dead. Only the trees requiring maintenance were selected and the healthy trees were removed from this data set.
This is a map of the Florida State Forest coverage, using data from 2016. This map displays the major lakes of Florida in blue and the forest cover in dark green. The data came from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
This map displays the solar potential of the continental United States. The yellow areas have the highest solar potential and the dark purple areas have the lowest solar potential. This data comes from the National Renewable Energy Lab.
This map displays the amount of protected areas by country in the region of South America. Brazil has the greatest number of protected areas and the countries in white have the least number of protected areas. The data was classified using Jenks.
This map shows the endangered and threatened plant density in Hawaii. The map intersects where the T&E density is very high and where the land is protected to display where protected lands are suitable and where they should be extended to.
