LUIS CARLOS TREJO FUENTES

Mr. Fuentes has a Bachelor’s of Fine Art (BFA) and a Bachelors of Art in History (BAH) from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB). He has experience in illustration, painting, printmaking, graphic design and sculpture. He is the founder of 3 out of the 4 art clubs at Permian High School which includes CAT Magazine, Permian Sculpture Garden Club and Art Attack. He has won 2 outstanding Hispanic educator awards from Hispanic Heritage Odessa. He is also one of the founding members of the Odessa Hispanic Art Association. Apart from teaching Art1 and sculpture, he is also known for his charity work and for promoting the visual arts at Permian high school at the national and international level. His work has been featured in news articles and television stations in both the United States and Mexico.
