Services for students with disabilities ages three to five are provided through services known as Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD).
East Central ISD provides services to eligible students with disabilities. Students with an Auditory Impairment (AI) or Visual Impairment (VI) are eligible for free appropriate services from birth to 36 months.
East Central ISD will establish an admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee for each eligible student with a disability and for each student for whom an initial evaluation for special education services is required. The ARD committee will develop the student’s individualized education program (IEP).
Please contact the East Central ISD Special Education Department for additional information at (210) 648-7861.
