For this project you will need a piece of paper and markers

this would be a great project to use crayon and watercolor if you have it!

If using marker, draw the chick's body. This is an oval shape with a flat bottom.

If using crayon and watercolor, use a black crayon to draw this shape.

Using your marker or crayon, draw a diamond in the middle of the chick's body.

Using your marker or crayon again, draw the eyes, head and tail feathers as well as a line across the diamond to create a beak.

Finally, finish by drawing two half circles for the wings and adding feet.

If using marker, color your chick and create a background.

If using crayon and watercolor, now use watercolor to paint your chick and the background.
