Bunny Card

Materials:

For this project you will need construction paper, scissors, markers and a glue stick.

NOTE: It might be easier to start with pencil, then trace in marker.

Step 1:

Choose a color of construction paper for your bunny. Draw a half circle on the bottom of your paper.

Step 2:

Draw a head for your bunny on top of the half circle.

Remember to leave enough space for your ears!

Step 3:

Draw your bunny ears and then cut out the whole bunny.

Step 4:

After you cut out your bunny, spread glue all over the head and body. Do this on the side that you drew him, that way when your glue him down your won't see any lines!

NOTE: If you don't glue down the ears, you can make them fold over later!

Step 5:

Glue down your bunny to another piece of construction paper.

Step 6:

Take an orange piece of construction paper and fold it in half hamburger style.

Step 7:

Draw a carrot shape ON THE FOLD of your paper. By drawing the carrot on the fold, it will create a card for us to flip open.

Leave the paper folded when you cut out your carrot.

Step 8:

Draw and cut out the stem for the carrot.

Step 9:

Take the step and cut some strips in it to make it more grassy.

Step 10:

Glue the carrot stem to the back of the carrot.

Step 11:

Glue down the carrot to your bunny.

Step 12:

Using the leftover construction paper from your bunny, cut out two ovals to create paws. Daw 3 lines on each paw for its toes.

Step 13:

Glue your bunny paws to the top of your carrot so that it looks like your bunny is holding the carrot.

Step 14:

Draw a face for your bunny. Fold over an ear or two if you'd like.

Then open up the carrot to write a sweet note to someone your care about!
