Hello, for the Week of April 6-10! We will continue separate ZOOM times this week for more individualized learning. Please check your grade tab at the top of this page for specific Zoom times (also highlighted below in the lesson plan).

Below is a detailed lesson plan for parents and students to use for the week of April 6th. Please notice I attempted to color coordinate between the two grades. There are a couple internet links to follow, but most of the lessons are on paper. Some lessons are also posted on Seesaw, but I'll post the paper copy under the class tab. NOTICE in bright BLUE: I am asking the students to post some of their work ON SEESAW, to be graded/checked. A few students have started doing this, but not all students have posted yet. Posting completed work will be an ongoing requirement because I am not asking for paper work to be dropped off in town. I will be checking Seesaw each day. I hope to be in contact via Remind if your student is forgetting to post work on Seesaw.

When it comes to your new materials: I AM ASKING parents and students to keep the 1st grade reading packets that I sent paper-clipped and within the specific books I put them in, so we can find things somewhat easily. 1st & 2nd grade math students are not to work ahead in our Class Activity math book OR our Homework/Remembering book. The kids can work at their own pace in the 'morning review extra math workbooks'.

I hope you find this workload to be about right, there is extra work for the students at the bottom of the table and of course they can work on their ipads/learning apps or read a book!

Please notice I will be teaching new material on Zoom, thank you for helping me make this mandatory. If your student is sick, please let me know, so I can excuse the absence, but they will still need to do the assigned work. If you have trouble with Zoom or the times posted, please contact me and we will work something out. I want to help and I know this is challenging for everyone. Thank you so much for helping me, help your student. Fingers crossed as we navigate our official first week of online learning/grading!
