BHS Community-Based Class Has Their Prom
On Friday, March 24th, Ms. Lamotte-Mathis' community based classroom traveled to Glen Oaks High School for their "Day/Night in Paris" prom. Broadmoor and Glen Oaks collaborated to provide this opportunity to their students. The students and parents had a great time, with Constable Terrica Williams and her staff pitching in to assist with make-up, serving lunch, and security. McDonalds Coporation pitched in with gift cards for the students. Principals, parents, faculty, and staff were "all hands on deck" to make the event happen. The students had a truly memorable experience they will remember for a long time.
