My name is Trey King! I am an 8th grade Advanced Science teacher at McKinley Middle Academic Magnet for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be my third year at McKinley Middle Academic Magnet and my fifth year as an educator overall.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in multiple careers trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life. Prior to teaching, I have worked in the service and retail industries, construction, medicine and veterinary fields. Working in these different fields has given me a great well-rounded view to help relate science to my students.

I decided to become a teacher, because I wanted to impact student’s lives and give them the knowledge and understanding to succeed in school and life. I look forward to helping your child become a better student and a better person.
