Greetings CTEC Stakeholders,
As we enter the final month of the school year, we are excited to highlight several important events and milestones that reflect the success, growth, and dedication of our students, staff, and partners. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to finish the year strong.
This week, we proudly celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. We extend our deepest gratitude to our educators for their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to student success. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are grateful for all that you do each day.
We are also in a critical moment of the school year:
Seniors have approximately 5 instructional days remaining
Underclassmen have approximately 13 instructional days remaining
This is the time to show appreciation, stay focused, and ensure that all academic responsibilities are completed with excellence. Let’s remain intentional, support one another, and make these final days count.
As always, we continue to embrace our Superintendent’s challenge to “DARE TO BE GREAT.” Together, we will finish strong and ensure our students are fully prepared for what lies ahead. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of CTEC.

Students from Glasgow’s Hospitality & Tourism Management (HTM) program recently participated in an engaging field trip to Brasserie Byronz, where they gained firsthand insight into the restaurant industry. During the visit, students toured the kitchen and interacted with professionals including a prep manager for catering, line cook, and executive chef/kitchen manager, learning about the day-to-day operations behind the scenes. Students also observed the preparation of a carrot soufflé, reviewed the recipe, and even had the opportunity to taste the finished dish. The experience was further enriched by owner Emelie Alton, who shared valuable perspectives on front-of-house operations and joined students for a Q&A session over lunch. This hands-on experience provided students with meaningful exposure to culinary and hospitality careers, bringing classroom learning to life in a real-world setting.
