A MESSAGE FROM MRS WINTER
Dear Families,
You will see some information below with regards to an event over half term whereby Osbourne House have invited children to go and spend some time with the residents to take part in some Halloween crafts and biscuit decorating. It is a wonderful opportunity as so many of our children have already been and have some wonderful relationships with the residents there. We would love to hear if any children are able to attend with a family member.
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us with ensuring children are in the correct uniform, we have seen a big improvement this week and thank you for your continued commitment to working with us.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes
Mrs. Winter
ATTENDANCE
COOK SCHOOL
What's Cooking?
Cook School has been as busy as ever! September saw the children taking part in The Very Hungry Caterpillar travelling to Spain! He returned with many Spanish Foods which the children thoroughly enjoyed trying, Foods included Spanish Chocolate Cake (made by Team Humber), Spanish Magdalena Cupcakes (made by Team Calder), Spanish Chorizo, Manchego Cheese and Watermelon. Team Humber and Team Calder did a fantastic job with their cakes - their bakes were delicious!
Team Swale and Team Nidd also got involved in the excitement and made their very own caterpillars and butterflies using a variety of healthy fruit and vegetables. Well done to all the children involved - all of your makes were fantastic!
Cook School is off to Pudding Lane for the next 3 weeks with Team Aire, Wharfe and Ouse to make Great Fire of London Cakes. Hopefully our bakes will be more successful than those in 1666!
