Dear Families,
At Staynor Hall safeguarding is our number one priority and it is everyone's responsibility. We know that at times, as parents and carers you may have concerns or worries you need to share with staff in school. If your concerns are of a safeguarding nature, whether that is related to a personal matter, something you have observed in the community or a concern you have about staff in school, it’s important that you know who to speak to. The following people manage safeguarding in school:
Mrs Winter and Mr Metcalfe (from January 8th) are the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL)
Mrs Danbury and Mr Willson are the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL)
If you would like to speak to one of the safeguarding team you can phone the school office to organise a call back on 01757 616428, you can come to the main reception and ask to speak with one of them or you can send an email directly to the team at slt.shs@ebor.academy
Parents play such an important role in helping set the culture of our school.. Therefore if you have a concern about any aspect of safety within our school community then please do not hesitate to come and speak to us.
A huge thank you to all of our parents and Mr Danks who ran the Christmas disco on Tuesday evening, the children had a wonderful time, such a great way to come together as a school community having fun, dancing and playing games together!
With warm wishes for a wonderful weekend
Mrs Winter
What's Cooking
Team Humber continue to make delicious fruit scones in Cook School this week. They have been showing off their weighing and measuring skills and have been learning about the ingredients used. Residents from Osborne House visited us this week and thoroughly enjoyed the scones that have been made for them. The rest of team Humber will still continue to make scones and will be bringing them home, along with the recipe, for you to enjoy.
The effort that Team Humber have been putting in to make the scones has been absolutely fantastic so well done! Mrs Soper is very proud of you all.
