Getting to know me!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Samantha Moyer. I started my teaching career after I graduated from Kutztown University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special/Elementary Education. I have my master’s degree from Walden University in Reading and Literacy for Elementary Education. For my first year teaching I was an employee of the CLIU #21 as a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. I have been with the district for the last 22 years in a multitude of classrooms ranging from Autistic Support, kindergarten, third grade and now back to special education as a learning support teacher for second and fifth grade. I am so very excited to see what this year has to offer!!

When I am not teaching, I am a wife and a mother of 3 boys, Konnor, Kole, and Kameron. Konnor is a freshman at Juniata College, Kole is in 11th grade, and Kam in entering 6th grade! They keep me busy and many weekends you can find me at the baseball diamond in the fally, volleyball court in the winter, and on the baseball diamond or the volleyball court in the spring.

Our dog, Bosco Banks is a Mini Aussiedoodle. He doesn't know he is a dog and travels with us every where we go. He is certified as a support animal and loves attention from any human or other animal! 

When I am not at school or hanging out at a field, I enjoy playing volleyball, taking pictures, going to concerts and of sitting outside on our porch with a great book.
