Meet Mrs. Wiltrout
Welcome to second grade! I have been at Wescosville since 2013 and LOVE working here! I started as a instructional assistant in autisic support, taught first grade for many years and have been in second grade since 2020!
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, watching movies, spending time with my two dogs, but mostly being with my son Landon!
I am looking forward to a great year in second grade and working with all of you!

Harmony
Harmony
Harmony is a social emotional curriculum that we will use through out the year. We will have meet ups every morning to discuss social and emotional learning.
Science and Social Studies
Science and Social Studies
*Students will be engaging in science and social studies topics through the year. Students will work on civics/ government, econimics and geography
Math
Math
*We will use Ready math to help us learn new mathematical stratgies. Students will engage in small group and whole group math. Students wil also use iready and reflex on their ipads to gain their math skills daily.
Language Arts
Writing
*we will use Lucy Calkins Unit of Study to work on different types of writing. We focus on narrative, opinion and informational.
Fundations
*Fundations is our phonics program that we will be working on daily. There will be unit tests that are taken to assess our skills.
Sustained Stations
*students will work with small groups on their reading and phonics skills
Heggerty
*phonics program that helps us with decoding of words and sounds

You don't need all of these supplies. We will have some available in the classroom for all students to use.
