Anne Kukitz has been an artist teacher in the East Penn School District since 2003. She began her career as an elementary art teacher and then transitioned to middle level art education. She has an undergraduate degree from Kutztown University (BSed in Art Education, minor in Creative Writing.) She also has a graduate degree (MA in Art Education) from the Maryland Institute College of Art. 

Her own art making and inquiry centers around color, design, font and pattern. A calligrapher and an amateur quilter, she collects color schemes like others collect trinkets. She loves to repurpose materials in imaginative ways. She also loves figure drawing and collage.
