THE NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY IS THE ORGANIZATION
THAT RECOGNIZES STUDENTS WHO REFLECT OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS
IN THE AREA OF SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SERVICE, CHARACTER, AND CITIZENSHIP.
As a current member of NJHS, you are required to maintain a 3.6 cumulative average and complete 15 hours of school and/or community service hours.
You are required to abide by the school's Code of Conduct and the Chapter Rules for the LMMS National Junior Honor Society.

The Honor Society Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the LMMS auditorium.
Volunteer Opportunities
All school sponsored volunteer opportunities and sign ups are posted on the NJHS Google Classroom.
Requirements for joining NJHS at Lower Macungie Middle School
Eligible students will be contacted in March if their GPA is above a 3.6. They will be invited to an informational meeting that outline requirements for membership.
Students must apply for membership.
Students must maintain a 3.6 cumulative GPA.
Students will be evaluated by the Faculty Council with the implementation of the following criteria; student essay, teacher recommendations, citizenship, school activities and community activities.
The vetting process for potential 7th grade students starts in May.
