A little bit about me…
I was very lucky to be hired as a special education teacher at Emmaus High School six months after graduating from DeSales University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education in 2011. I also completed my Master’s degree in Reading at Wilkes University. I am a certified reading specialist and I am also certified in Special Education, Elementary Education, High School English, High School Social Studies, Middle Level Math, and Family and Consumer Science.
I currently live in Northampton with my husband and three children, Reia age 20, Luca age 9, and Trace age 8. My oldest son, Ethan, graduated from college last year at age 21, and lives and works in Exton. My oldest daughter, Kylie, turned 29 this year and is living on her own in Quakertown with my 5 year old granddaughter, Millie. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, swimming, kayaking, reading, and cooking. But most of all, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, doing the things they love to do! Many summers ago, we lived in Ireland for a month and two summers ago spent 2 weeks in Norway.
This will be my 14th year working at Emmaus High School, so I am excited to get back into the classroom this year with all of you!!
