Welcome to Español 3! This year is going to be jam-packed with information, and you will likely nearly double the amount of Spanish you have learned in Spanish 1 and 2. You will learn a variety of different vocabulary including airport and travel (useful for your next trip to a Spanish-speaking country), sports and health, shopping, restaurants, movies, school, family and environment. Relating to grammar, we will review the preterite tense, which you should definitely remember from Spanish! We will expand on the imperfect tense, which was briefly introduced in Spanish 2, and you will learn the future tense at the end of the year. There are many other grammatical topics covered throughout the year too!
Schoology will be the primary means for you to access class information and assignments. If you are absent, be sure to check the daily Update for assignments.
A classroom set of textbooks will be provided, so there is no need to bring a book to class each day. If you have homework in your textbook, an online version is available by clicking on the link Avancemos 2 and entering the username and password given below.
