Who can join band?

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student can join band!

Why should I join band?

You should join because it's a lot of fun! In band you'll learn to play an instrument, read music, and play in a band. You'll get to perform in concerts for friends and family, plus do other fun things throughout the year!

What instruments can I learn?

There are lots of instruments to choose from! You can learn the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, or percussion. 

When will my lessons be?

All band members will have an instrument lesson once a week! You will be pulled out of another class, so make sure to check the lesson schedule every week.

What if I've never played an instrument before?

That's absolutely fine! Everyone is welcome in band whether you've played an instrument before or not.
