Ms. Tasniyah Hoque is currently serving as a Lecturer in the School of Business Administration at East Delta University. Prior to her transition into academia, she built extensive industry expertise in the banking sector, working at prestigious international and local institutions such as HSBC Bangladesh and Eastern Bank PLC.
She earned her MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with Distinction from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. She also holds an MBA from the University of Chittagong, where she achieved the top rank in her cohort, and a BBA from North South University, where she graduated as Summa Cum Laude (the highest distinction). Her educational journey, spanning from early schooling in the United Arab Emirates to postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, allows her to bring a diverse international perspective to the classroom.
While studying in the UK, she was selected as one of the top five students in her cohort to contribute to a real-world supply chain project with a British company, Rebirth Analytics UK Ltd. Her work focused on contemporary challenges in deforestation-free supply chains. With a strong blend of industry experience and academic rigor, she is committed to fostering practical learning and contributing to impactful research.
Her research interests include sustainable supply chains, supply chain risk management, demand forecasting using artificial intelligence and consumer behavior.
