Tahmid Labib is working as a lecturer in the Department of Economics at East Delta University. Before joining East Delta University, he worked as a consultant at the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI). 

He has completed his BSS in Economics from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and MSc in Economics from North South University. His research interests are trade modeling, sustainable energy security, ICT and economic development, public health, happiness, and well-being.
