Shaifuddin Khaled is currently working as a Lecturer of Economics at the Department of Economics at East Delta University, Chattogram, Bangladesh.

He is also a member of Bangladesh Economic Association. As regards to his educational qualifications, he has completed his Masters of Science (MSc) in Economics from Jahangirnagar University securing second position in the Department of Economics with major interest in Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics and Advanced Econometrics. He also completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the same university securing third position.

Khaled is an aspiring academician and researcher whose interest lie in Macroeconomics and Development Policy in general. He started his career as a Researcher at Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). Currently, he plays a vital role in instructing major Economics courses at the university, including Principles of Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economics, Advanced Statistics, Introduction to Econometrics and Econometrics and Statistics Lab.
