Dr. Mashiyat Tasnia is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business Administration at East Delta University, Chattogram, Bangladesh. She is also a visiting senior lecturer at Taylors University, Malaysia. Previously, she worked as a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Science of Technology Chittagong. She has completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and a Masters in Islamic Finance Practice from the INCEIF University, Malaysia.

Her research focuses on environmental, social and governance (ESG), cultural and gender diversity, Islamic finance, and sustainable finance. She presented her research at several international conferences, such as Malaysia and Australia. Besides, Dr. Tasnia published her research in several prestigious journals such as Science of the Total Environment, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, and Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investment. Besides, she performs as a reviewer for well- reputed journals. During her PhD, she worked as a research assistant in a several funded project.
