ABOUT MAHBUBUR

Dr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman is currently working as an Assistant professor in School of Science, Engineering and technology at East Delta University (EDU), Bangladesh. He is also working as a member of IQAC and External Engagement committee at East Delta University.

He received his Ph.D. degree from Queensland University of Technology (Q.U.T.) in 2018. He has earned a good reputation in Physics-based modeling and simulation, Biomedical image processing, and renewable energy through his scholarly, innovative, high-quality research. Dr. Rahman has authored over 38 peer-reviewed articles, including high-quality (Q1) journal papers, peer-reviewed book chapters, and conference papers. His papers have attracted about 1500+ citations with h-index 12 and i10 index 13. 

He was a member of the team which developed internationally recognized real-world project-based learning (P.B.L.) programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This program has made Q.U.T. a world leader in technical education. Dr. Rahman also has experience in Outcome-Based Learning (O.B.E.) and the Blended learning process. He has been a keynote/distinguished speaker at scores of international conferences and invited/keynote speaker in seminars in many reputed universities worldwide. His current research is directed towards mathematical modeling, renewable energy, embedded system engineering, and the Internet of things (IoT).

Dr. Rahman also has more than ten years of extensive industry experience in the different sectors, including Healthcare (QLD-Australia), Local government (Australia), aviation, and telecommunication and information technology. He has a reputable, proven track record in deploying and managing cutting-edge Internet of things (IoT) systems, including wireless networks (R.F., LTE, 5G-open RAN) and, smart city systems.
