East Bend Church and Dewey Community Church are excited to offer Vacation Bible School again this summer!
Registration is now open for children who turn 4 (by Sept 1, 2024) through Students who have completed 8th grade (in 2024).
This year’s theme is
Breaker Rock Beach:
God's Rock Solid Truth in a World of Shifting Sands
Children will discover that God does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
The theme verse is: Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

What ages is VBS for?
We offer VBS to children as young as 4 year olds (by Sept 1, 2024) up through students who have completed 8th grade (in 2024).
How much Does it Cost?
We offer VBS completely free!
Part of VBS does include raising money for a specific mission project, but giving towards this is optional.
What kinds of things do the kids do at VBS?
The students going to VBS hear Bible stories, sing VBS songs, participate in crafts, recreation, have snacks, learn about God's Word, make friends and have fun!
Where do I drop off the kids?
VBS is hosted by both East Bend Church and Dewey Community Church, and all activities are held at East Bend Church, which is located at 702 County Road 3300 N, Fisher, IL (The building is 2 miles north of Fisher and 1 mile east at the intersection of CR 3300 N and CR 700 W)
We have signs and people showing you where to drive into the parking lot at East Bend Church and someone will help your kids know where to enter the building.
Is there a VBS Program (for the families)?
Yes, we have a closing program on Friday June 7th at 7:00 pm at East Bend Church for the VBS students and their families and friends.
