Social Studies

Our social studies units become themes that are used throughout the school day. Students will also learn about the first Thanksgiving and American symbols.

As the year continues, students begin to explore different cultures from around the globe, such as Japan. Photographs, artifacts, clothing, and cultural items add greatly to our interest and learning.

Students are encouraged to bring in items that relate to each unit of study.
