What: Google Earth Engine Workshops (2 sessions)
Where: Google Warsaw
When: January 29th, 13:00 - 17:00 (Intro) and 9:00 - 12:00 (Advanced)
Who: These workshops are best suited for researchers that are already familiar with some form of Earth observation / remote sensing data analysis techniques.
Cost: Free, but space is limited, so there's a chance we won't be able to accommodate everyone and signup is required.
Session 1: 13:00 - 17:00 EE-101: A hands-on introduction to Google Earth Engine
This session will start with an overview presentation of "What Is Earth Engine", followed by a hands-on workshop that takes participants through the basics of getting up and running with Earth Engine. You will learn how to perform complex, large-scale tasks such as time-series compositing and supervised classification using the Earth Engine API and interactive development environment.
If you've never attended an Earth Engine Workshop or if you're new to using Earth Engine, this is the session for you.
Session 2: 9:00 - 12:00 EE-201: Advanced Earth Engine topics
This session will dive into several advanced Earth Engine topics including advanced visualizations, multi-dimensional arrays, spectral unmixing and harmonic fitting to a time-series of imagery (phenology). Only users already familiar with Earth Engine for some time should sign up for the advanced topics workshop.
