Hello! My name is Mrs. Washington and I have been teaching at ELA for two years now. 

I earned my bachelor's degrees in both Elementary and Special Education from Utah State University (go Aggies!), with an emphasis in mild/moderate disabilities. 

I attended ELA when I was younger, so I've loved coming back and getting to join the team again as a teacher.

A little about me...

Outside of teaching, I love any adventure! Some of my favorites include spending time with my husband, trying new restaurants, reading, hosting a cookbook club with friends, and singing in a choral ensemble in SLC. I also love camping and traveling - both solo and with my husband. My teaching and travels have taken me to some incredible places, including Thailand, Mexico, India and 22 national parks!
