About Me

Hello! My name is Scott Kim, and I have the pleasure of working as a 3rd Grade Collaboration teacher this year. I am a newly graduated Longhorn with a Bachelor's in Special Education. Throughout the majority of my semesters as a student teacher, I worked in Round Rock ISD in both general and special education. In every semester, working with the kiddos have always been my favorite part of the job!

I spent the majority of my childhood in Hong Kong and South Korea. Growing up, I often visited extended family members who lived in Orange County CA, but I came to Austin for the very first time in 2017 to attend UT. So far, I love everything about the city– the food, the communities, especially the vibes. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports (such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball) with my friends. I'm also a new and growing runner, and I'm steadily working my way up run a full marathon one day!
