Hello BPE families!  My name is Stephanie Kemp, and I am starting my 31th year of teaching and this is my second year at BPE.  I am so excited that I get to spend this year with you and your second grader!

My husband and I love being here in Austin after spending five years living in Florida.  I have two children, Lincoln and Cooper, plus my beloved golden retriever Oakley.  Lincoln plays professional hockey and Cooper serves in the United States Marine Corps.  I am sure throughout the year, your child will hear many stories of my boys and my dog!  

In my free time, you will find my husband and I watching UT and LSU football games, watching my son play hockey, reading a good book, doing yoga, horseback riding, or running with Oakley.  

My goal for this year is to make sure your student learns and feels valued and loved when at school.  I look forward to having your child as part of our classroom family here at BPE!
