¡Hola! I am beyond excited to be the first-grade Spanish Immersion teacher at Barton Creek Elementary this year. This will be my fourth year teaching and my fourth year at BCE. I am so proud to be part of the BCE family again!

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Applied Learning Development for Early Childhood-6th grade, Bilingual Generalist with Highest Honors. Hook’em Horns!

I was born in Mexico City and moved to Montgomery, Texas in fourth grade. In Mexico, I was part of an English Immersion program that propelled me to be fully bilingual by the time I moved to Texas. I have experienced first-hand the benefits a second language can bring to all aspects of someones life, which is why I am so proud and excited to be part of this program.

In my free time, you can find me cooking, running, spending time with family and friends, or painting. I enjoy traveling, watching good movies at night, eating pizza and sipping on tea all day long. What truly motivates me as a teacher is to create a community in my classroom that will allow my students to be comfortable to be themselves. To create a community that promotes kindness, equality, creativity and critical thinking to better themselves and the people around them. My goal this year is to create meaningful relationships with my students which will help create a positive learning environment for everyone that steps into my classroom. I am so excited to get started!
